TANYA ARITAO
Contemporary Fine Artist
Creating personal, meaningful art that completes your space
Art that reflects your story
Nature
Movement  •  Memory

I am a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans oil painting, printmaking, collage, and poetry. My subjects range from landscapes and natural forms to elephants and human figures in motion. These elements serve as vessels for a deeper inquiry into presence, movement, memory, and the interplay of fragility and strength. Conservation work has deepened my relationship to nature and shaped the themes of preservation, coexistence, and reflection in my work.

I help people tell their story through art, creating pieces that enrich their spaces and resonate with personal meaning. My collectors often commission artwork to celebrate milestones, mark a special season in life, honor values, or remember loved ones. Each collaboration becomes a conversation, where your story informs the layers, textures, and rhythms of the final piece.

My work flows between large-scale oil paintings and intimate prints, between textured collage and handwritten verse. These shifts in scale reflect the duality I explore: the vastness of environment and the intimacy of inner life. I often integrate my own poetry into the visual surface, allowing the written word to act as internal monologue, narrative layer, or emotional rhythm. Through these interwoven forms, I aim to create art that not only occupies space but also evokes connection, presence, and reflection in those who experience it.
